Seed to Ship, Digitized. A custom Frappe-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system that unifies contract farming, zero-touch processing, and export logistics into a single, traceable digital pipeline.

Managing a "Farm-to-Fork" supply chain is messy. Trusfarm was coordinating with 65+ contract farmers, 3 different Sortex plants, and third-party labs using disjointed communication channels. The Disconnect: Critical data—like moisture content in Cumin or purity levels in Sesame—was trapped in PDF lab reports or WhatsApp chats. Without a centralized system, ensuring Traceability (a requirement for EU/US exports) was a manual, error-prone nightmare. They needed a system that could enforce quality standards programmatically.
We rejected generic ERPs that didn't understand agriculture. Instead, we utilized the open-source power of ERPNext (Frappe Framework) to build a bespoke solution tailored to the nuances of the spice trade.
We digitized the fields. The system maintains a "Farmer KYC" database, tracking land acreage, crop cycles, and expected yields. Procurement teams can issue digital "Purchase Orders" directly to farmers, linking raw material batches to specific plots of land.
Quality isn't an afterthought; it's a workflow. We built a custom "QC Inspection" doctype. When raw material arrives, it cannot be moved to the warehouse until lab parameters (Moisture, Admixture, Ash) are entered and approved. If a sample fails the 99.5% purity check, the system automatically blocks the batch.
We modeled the "Zero-Touch" processing line digitally. The ERP tracks the movement of goods from Raw Material -> Cleaning -> Grading -> Sortex -> Packaging. This calculates "Processing Loss" in real-time, giving management visibility into yield efficiency.
Shipping to 30+ countries requires speed. The system auto-generates Packing Lists, Commercial Invoices, and Certificates of Analysis (COA) based on the specific batch data, reducing documentation errors by 90%.
